- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering (BSc Hons)
- Member of Society of Road Safety Auditors (MSoRSA)
Mike specialises in providing highway and transportation advice relating to the development planning process since 2001. He is most experienced in the preparation of Transportation Assessments, Travel Plans, Access Feasibility Reports, Road Safety Audits and collision analysis. He has extensive traffic and junction modelling experience from the industry standard transportation engineering software suite and is competent in the preliminary design of off-site highway improvement schemes.
Mike is easily approachable and makes an excellent project team member developing cost effective deliverable solutions arising from the client brief. In order to achieve such results Mike acknowledges that this requires a happy and dedicated team and this is achieved by treating colleagues how he expects to be treated himself.
In his spare time, Mike has been known to be found walking in the hills, chasing a football around a pitch or taking in the summer sunshine playing a game of cricket. His favourite pastime by far however is catching up with his friends over a pint in the pub.

Cotswold Transport Planning provided highway and transport consultancy advice for the development of two Commercial Glasshouse and Packing facilities in the South East of England, which have recently been granted planning permission. Furthermore, Cotswold Transport Planning has since been instructed to undertake a Section 278 Agreement associated with both schemes.

Cotswold Transport Planning prepared various Transport Reports and developed an access strategy for the redevelopment of the former Kellaway Building Suppliers site on Luckwell Road, Bedminster, Bristol for a 100% Affordable scheme comprising 59 apartments and eight houses.

Planning Permission granted for student led redevelopment of Old Bristol Royal Infirmary
Cotswold Transport Planning were instructed to prepare a Transport Assessment, Student Moving In/Moving Out Strategy and Preliminary Design of Off-Site Highways Works in support of the mixed use redevelopment of the Old Building Bristol Royal Infirmary for 416 student beds, 62 residential flats, 123sq.m of commercial land uses and the refurbishment of the listed Fripps Chapel building for community uses.
