- Chartered Member of the Institute of Highways and Transport (MCHIT)
Chris is a transport planner with 15 years’ experience in advising clients on the implication of development proposals for a range of land uses including residential, retail and mixed use regeneration projects. Chris provides advice at all stages of the development process from initial feasibility advice through to preparation of planning applications and negotiating planning conditions and s106 / s278 agreements.
Chris also has extensive traffic and junction modelling experience and regularly works as part of client project teams to deliver cost effective, deliverable solutions for clients.
Chris has experience of assisting clients with planning appeals including preparing written representations, appearing at informal hearings and assisting colleagues at public inquiry (including preparing proofs of evidence).
In his spare time, Chris can normally be found chasing after his young son or following the varying fortunes of Manchester United. When time permits, Chris also enjoys socialising with friends and enjoying a pint or two of real ale at a local pub.

CTP assists Big Yellow Self-Storage in obtaining planning permission in Queensbury
Cotswold Transport Planning are delighted to have assisted Big Yellow Self Storage in obtaining planning permission for a new five-storey self-storage facility with flexible office space at Cumberland Road, Queensbury. CTP supported the planning application by providing input to the development of the site layout including access design and swept path analysis as well as producing a detailed Transport Statement, Travel Plan and Servicing and Refuse Management Plan.
