Effective Management and Negotiation of Section Agreements
As a legally binding document between the Local Highway Authority and the developer, a Section Agreement ensures that the work to be carried out on the highway is completed to the standards and satisfaction of the Local Highway Authority.
The document is prepared by the Local Highway Authority’s solicitor and issued to the developer’s solicitor as a draft. The details of the Section Agreement is then agreed before the final document is completed and signed by both parties before the commencement of any work on site.
