Cotswold Transport Planning were instructed to prepare Transport Statements and Technical Notes for the development of Commercial Glasshouse and Packing Facilities in Ingham, near Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk and Kirby Bedon, near Norwich, Norfolk.

Issues & Solutions

Cotswold Transport Planning identified safe and suitable access arrangements for both sites and ensured trips associated with each facility would not have a detrimental impact on the operation or safety of the local highway network.

In addition, Cotswold Transport Planning assisted the project Architect by providing advice on internal layout requirements including road widths, parking provision, HGV loading and turning requirements and various swept-path assessment (vehicle tracking) drawings.

Cotswold Transport Planning are currently progressing the detailed design (Section 278 Highway Works) for both schemes.

This resulted in planning permission being granted for two Two Commercial Glasshouse and Packing Facilities in East Anglia.
