The three-storey building is close to GCHQ and J11 of the M5 at Cheltenham Office Park on a site owned by developer and investor Robert Hitchins Ltd. It allows for 3,680 sq m of office accommodation along with 126 parking spaces at the site.

Cotswold Transport Planning undertook a comprehensive Transport Statement and worked closely with the architects, Roberts Limbrick, to design a scheme which maximised the location of the site as well as ensuring safe and suitable access for all users.

Issues & Solutions

The site had previously been permitted for office use, albeit at a smaller scale than the recently permitted office use and most recently the extant planning permission of the site was for residential use. Cotswold Transport Planning assessed the net vehicle trip impact of the previous planning permissions and demonstrated that it would not have a severe impact on the safe and efficient operation of the local highway network.


Planning permission was granted.
